Yaris 2014 AT tight steering

Hello Yaris Club... I have a 2014 Yaris automatic transmission. I noticed some intermittent tightness in steering when driving or when at full stop. Is this normal on an EPS equipped car? I'm comparing the steering feel with my honda city 2012 which I find that the honda city is more relaxed to drive. There is no error on my panel of any kind that points out to that problem. Can somebody please share if there is a way to fine tune the steering for EPS.

"Tightness"? It isn't always consistent with how much assistance it provides, but generally it is OK.

Of course, it is subjective, but I'd suggest it is tuned to be slightly "heavy" to aid with control, especially at higher speeds.

As far as I'm aware it isn't possible to 'fine tune' the EPS. However, as your previous car was a Honda City, which has never been available in Europe under that name, your Yaris may be different to the French built versions we have.
