I've purchased a celica convertible last year and have the following issues the car starts runs for a short while then cuts out I've tried all sorts off things to try and solve the problem but still no joy a auto electrician has checked it out but still no joy can anyone help me out please I don' want to scrap the car because its too good condition and it' only done 75000 miles it's a 1993 model

That will be a Gen 5 then.?...process of elimination I guess.

Fuel filter.?
