I'm having an issue with my 1.0. The engine light was coming took it to garage the guy reset light and said it was something to do with exhaust. It's now on constant, haven't taken it back to garage yet thou.

Any thoughts on what it could be? Any common faults with regards to this?

Thanks

Why not buy an OBD2 diagnostic tool, like this one:

ELM327 OBD2 OBDII Car Bluetooth Scanner Android

Then link it up with a decent app like Torque Lite or Torque Pro. Then you will be able to scan your engine for any fault codes and make an informed decision on what to do next.

You can even reset the engine light using the app, so you don't have to keep going to the garage to do it!

I've got the same adapter in the link above, and use Torque Pro. Even though I've never had any engine problems yet (touch wood), I've found it very useful for showing me info on what my engine is doing and its current health.

BTW, it worked perfectly on my AYGO, connected to the Android version of Torque Pro and Android tablet, but had issues connecting to a friend's iPhone , so bear that in mind if you do get one.

Sounds like the Lambda sensor to me. On my previous car (not an aygo) it was doing the same. Sometimes a build up of soot on the sensor can cause it to give a warning signal. If it is this then you can remove and clean it. It's a simple job.

I'd like to add that resetting is only a temporary measure, it will come back on at some point if you do not correct the fault.  If it is the Lambda and it is only dirty, then try cleaning  before investing in a new one.
