Chain or Belt?

Hi guys

Just bought an Auris 2.2 D4D T180 last week. Its on a 57 plate. Just wanted to know if the engine has a belt or a chain. I heard its chain driven but i read online that the chain engines started 08 onwards. Any help and info on this would be much appreciated.

All Auris are chain engined

Just hope that the engine oil and filter has been changed on time and with good oil and filter. That's the biggest source of failure/wear with timing chains, more important with a Diesel too.
