Hi everyone,

I own an 2011 Octavia 1.2 tsi for year and half, they are infamous with cam chain/turbo and head gasket issues. I am a little  paranoid about reliability so that i am thinking about exchanging it.

My budget is not so high - so that in Poland thr options i have:

If i take some credit i can buy brand new dacia logan/fiat tipo ( i need a sedan or a hatch with big trunk) - about this i m not sure how reliable they will be after 4-5 years. And Ncap results are not bright.

Was looking for Mondeo but i found a lot of small/big issues with those, maybe i dig so deep:)

Finally i am into Corolla, found a white Sedan with 40k miles with service history from 2010.  (1.6 vvti with manual gearbox)

So the final point is, how do you know this model? What should i be careful about when i go check it? Are there any known issues?  Will a 7 year old be likely to make any problems?

I found two comments on the internet, first:chassis are prone to get rusty ( a polish mechanic review) and second is about high oil consumption with 1.6 vvti - about this i believe it can be related to older engines

Appreciate any comment, suggestion:)
