A simple tester can be made by having a bulb with two wires fastened to it, or any voltage tester how are you at DIY

I personally think it could be a electrical fault and it has blown the new pump

What I would suggest buying a cheap 12 volt tester  A simple one can look like a small screwdriver with a bulb in a semi transparent handle with a wire coming from the top with maybe a crocodile clip on it and once you have used it you will see how easy you can be able to test any circuit on the car.

There will be a fuse in the wiring which can blow in the wire from the washer switch if there is a fault like a short path to earth feeding  the pump There is only a 12 to 14 volt supply to the pump and as this is designed to operate on that and would not "blow it" Have you checked the fuses Are there two  wires to the pump,if so (probably in a plastic case that pulls apart.that will isolate the switch you use to operate the washer) There will be a box under the bonnet with a cover over it.Pull the top off and see if all the fuses are pushed firmly in the sockets There may be on the inside of said cover which circuit is covered by each fuse. If one has blown I would suggest a visit to an auto electrician as the only other thing I would suspect is faulty contacts in the washer switch

Cheers for your reply surely if it was a fuse that has blown it wouldn’t of worked when i first fitted it as it has done the same as the old pump and is dead no noise or anything?

I am groping in the dark here as I cannot see the condition of your electrics and what  the history of your motor is. I suggested checking the fuse to make sure none of them is not as it should be in its holder. therefore this can only be theory, sorry.! A fuse that is not seated fully can cause the current to arc across the contacts which could cause it to heat up and expand and break contact which would then  cool down again make contact

Is the fuse under the bonnet or in the glove box i have no manual sorry!!

Your  fuse box is usually found under the bonnet  and will have probably a black box over it. It may be on the opposite side to the Battery.

You could try typing on line "operating instructions for your Corolla verso on line  for info

Got hold of a multi meter and check connector which plugs onto pump and it is reading around 12volts now i am totally lost because if their is power it should be working

Have you tried the Ohms setting to see if there is a resistance in the earth wire ?

The resistance is measured  in the earth wire by switching your meter to the symbol that looks like a horse shoe If both wires are in a single connector then switch on to the volts symbol and put the black wire on a metal part of the engine or the Battery marked with a --  and the red wire into the connector one side at a time. The one you get a reading from is not the one to test so forget that.  switch the  meter on to the horse shoe and place one of the probes, does not matter which, into the side of the connector that did not give a volts  reading. the meter should read zero which will eliminate any fault in the earth wire. Jiggle (lovely word ) the wire and see if the reading alters

Going to have to try this tomorrow now as it is getting dark if i get no reading from the earth wire what will be the next thing to try? I was wondering if the pump i brought was faulty and just try another one and see what happens.
