On the move

This will be my last message on this forum. I’m trading my Yaris for an Auris, so will be moving to the Auris forum. 

I’m getting an Auris Touring Sports Hybrid Excel, same age as the Yaris 1st September 2016, but with only 1041 miles. Couldn’t resist.

The reason for the move is I am now in a position to afford a Hybrid, also, I’ve never been very happy with the Yaris. It’s not that it is a bad car, it just (for me) has lots of little niggles. Foremost is whistling wind noise, but not all the time, very irritating, never experienced so much in a modern car. Poor instrument lighting, you can’t see the speedo in certain light conditions without the lights being on. Never could get the seating position ‘just right’, so makes my shoulders ache on long motorway journeys. There are more, but this will get boring.

the whistle noise is from the ariel, once removed it is silent as i found out after a long time lol
