england never get the rub of the green :(

our boys didn't play well on the night, without rooney we're not the same team..

but, at the end of the day we still scored 1 more goal than Portugal - and had it disallowed

there's no justice.

14 years on, we still can't take penalty's

I just can't wait to see who the press points the finger at...

presumably Beckham... Vassell, Gary Neville (because they always do)..

If Rooney played the full 90 minutes we would have won 2-0 or more, he makes or breaks the England team.

wondered how long it would be before the whining started :) :D :D

OK I must admit the game should have never gone to extra time but throughout the game the stats were always in Portugals favour, more shots on goal, less fouls (oops refs fault)....

How about the commentators on the penalties though, do we really have to point out Portugal were using the same spot !!!!

Now we have to put up with years of moaning from the english becasue they were cheated, can't you guys just face facts....

:D :D :D :D YOU LOST :D :D :D :D

Oh, just got off ther phone with Jimlad, he asked me to say one thing....

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

breezer sid it best, we were robbed

if its any consolation i hope the referee gets some questioning after the match (not by english press of course) but by uefa on how suitable he is for refereeing euro matches. he wasnt in a position to judge campbells header, he shoul;dve trusted the linesman. You could say **** happens but that takes the p.

the difference is when we lose, we lose, we don't keep moaoning about it matey ....

we don't start riots or kill people abroad either, wondre how many people will be deported for rioting this evening and unfortunately would be surprised to see some deaths over there, oh well, typical english....

do yourself a favour ryan and get out of the thread, you're out of order on this one - anyone who feels strongly towards the football will agree with me.

You expect to lose, that's the difference.

nope we don't expect to lose or we wouldn't play, we play our best try and win and IF we lose we get on with life and try harder the next time, not out of order just realistic.....

Don't ask me to leave a thread for stating my opinions I am not being rude, not pointing any fingers and not insulting any members, just stating my honest beliefs, I believe although better check thats within club guidlines.

Now if england lost as I said earlier you were robbed there is nothing you can do about it now apart from try again next time, so move on and get over it....

What infuriates me Ryan is that so often the Welsh/Scots don't have a good word to say about England when they're winning, however as soon as they lose you're hovering like a vulture to take the p when you're in no position to do so.

You're touching a raw nerve on this one, it's the most unfair result for England since Maradona used his hand to rob us.

I don't think you're stating your opinions at all, I think you're just being a 'typical bitter welshman' and winding me up is only going to p me off further.

Ditto.

No Welsh have ever been disappointed cos they've never done f :censor: k all :P

Bellamy is the only Welsh player worthy of comment and lets be honest (yes I support Newcastle) he doesn't like to whinge does he? :P

Just got back from the pub and I must admit it was getting a bit heated in there, but to be honest I don't think its because we're English but because people are passionate about what they believe in

Anyway please excuse the spelling as Stella f :censor: ks your ability to to speak

Wot can I say...

We deserved to loose, but we also deserved to win.

You cannot deny we played utter crap. We just gave the ball away everytime we got it... it was very poor football. However, it was a goal, it shouldn't have been disallowed, and we should have won.

doh

your missing the point, when the welsh/scot's do lose we accept the fact that we've lost and don't mope about for months complaining about what could have been.....
