How do I change from miles to kilometres

I hope someone can help. I've just bought a secondhand Auris 1.4 D4-D Active from Northern Ireland and imported it into the Republic. Problem is, I can't get to the settings menu to allow me to change the units to kilometres. With engine started, in neutral and with handbrake on, I press the "Disp" button on the steering wheel to cycle through the menu, but it never brings me to the "Settings Press and Hold" screen that the handbook shows.

So what am I doing wrong? Is it possible that there is no settings menu on some models produced for the UK market?

On mine, I open the display in the instrument panel, and change to litres/ kilometre. Then my speed display changed from mph to kph. Hope this helps.

Thanks Jon, but how are you doing that? Are you pressing that little stick (for want of a better word!) on the speedometer? I've tried that too, the menus change the same as they do when I press "Disp", but I never get the menu that the Owner's Manual tells me I should:

For anyone with a similar problem, here's what I found out.

My car is a UK model and doesn't allow those settings to be changed. Which is a bit of a nuisance: I would guess that the same software is loaded on the onboard computer on both UK and European models but for some reason Toyota has decided to hobble the UK version.

A friendly engineer plugged in his diagnostics and was able to change some of the settings for me. I can now see range in kilometres and fuel consumption in km/l. He couldn't change the other settings such as the trip A and B readings, which still show miles, but those don't matter so much to me.
