Estima Remote Central Locking

Can anyone tell me whether my 96 Estima Emina X-Lux should have a remote locking fob or not. I didn't get one with the car and presumed they came out on later models as I saw a P-reg with one (mine is an N reg). If I should have one how would I go about getting one.

My 95 'M' didn't but I had an alarm fitted (£150) and that gave a fob. 'P' was a big facelift year, ABS as standard, that sort of thing. So you may have just missed out. Not much comfort - I'm sorry, but a cheap alarm might be the answer even if you just use it for the central locking.

Thanks for the reply Ed. I have ABS and airbags but that's probably extras for the X-Lux. Had a quote of £199 fitted from Sextons for a tidy toad alarm Ai616 i think so might go that route.
