Need Advice On This One !

Hi everyone.

I`ve cured the missfire i`ve been experiencing, New cap. Rotor and leads. Not the magnecor ones yet (1 week waiting while they make them up) borrowed some off a mates MR2 Had to modify them slightly to fit. Stems slightly too short.

The strange thing is the car now seems reluctant to redline in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Seems good up to 5k then runs out of steam. Takes an age to get to 6k. Turbo is boosting at about 6-7 psi. Any ideas or is this fairly normal??? Incidently flat out in 3rd is scary on the roads over here. White knuckle ride then.

Mods are as follows.

Blitz induction system.

Blitz Dump valve.

The following work has been done in the past month.

New cambelt. Valves regapped. Oil change etc.etc.

New Cap.

New Rotor.

MR2 leads fitted.

Any views, opinions gratefully received.
