England weren't good enough, would have been a travesty if we beat portugal with that performance - BUT, that goal should have stood.

The home nation got the rub of the green, which is fine - you expect it.

But you can guarantee if England won the game there and then we wouldn't be wasting our time gloating on a portugese forum.

I won't even be bombarding you of images of portugal going out in the semi's as i'm sure you'd do to us - but perhaps the menality is different over there.

In defence of David Beckham - ok he's had a poor season, but this guy has given alot to England and without him we wouldn't have even been at Euro2004.
