40k Service

i have just had my 40k service.In the servise book and hand book it says brake fluid should be changed every 20k or 2 years,two out of three dealers would have replaced the fluid in the service at no extra cost the dealer i used only inspected the brake fluid and ok'd it. When questioned they say toyota only recomend it to be checked ????

Toyota uk say it should only be checked as customers were complaining of the cost was to high for the 40k service??? I still have not got to the bottom of this yet>Garage that does not change fluid in the service is Hills of Bishop stortford herts.and they charge more than romford toyota for the same servisce!!(£30more)

Any one had similar probs as Toyota said i should have negotiated with the garage to find out what i would get for my money, what a load of crap!!!

40k service is a 40k service or am i missing something?
