HELP! Avensis flat battery, three dash lights

Hello all,

I don't seem to be having much luck with my second hand Avensis lately,

Avensis Diesel 2.2 estate 2005

I was coming to work tonight and put the key in the ignition, lights come on, turn engine fires and three lights stay on. I didn't have any spare time to look into it and had to come in regardless - the car performed ok and drove in but the lights stayed on,

the' Drain Water' white light - the 'Battery' red light - and the 'Low Oil' white light

I have come to my break and went to start it and the starter motor laboured and finally stopped - so the Battery is now dead?

Any ideas whats gone on, why all three at once? is it a fuse? if so where please?

Obviously I am now stuck at work unless I can sort a lift or a bump MAYBE?
