Hi guys first time on here

Passed my test in June 2017 and bought myself a second hand toyota rav4 2003. 

Since buying ive had problems with it. When coming to a stop and junctions occasionaly my car will die. When trying to restart it turns over but wont kick in. Usually wont start again for between 5 and 20mins. Has happened at least six times, worst being in the middle of a dual carriageway crossover. Last saturday had to call out roadside recovery when it happened at a roundabout. but the car started again after 20 min.

Since then cars passed its MOT and has just been fully serviced. Mechanic has tried diagnostic but no problem codes are stored. Also tried recreating the problem to no avail. Now im not the most confident of drivers so as you can imagine my car dying with no warning whenever and wherever it wants aint helping. Any ideas or similar issues that have been resolved would be great. Thanks
