So, I have never been keen on the front end looks of the 2015 facelift, particularly around the grilles. Imo it looks worst on light colours & my car is white ...

I have therefore been playing around in Paint (apologies for the lack of artistic ability) with what would be some inexpensive/simple changes & would be interested in the forum users views of the attached i.e. what do they like best & indeed any other thoughts that they might come up with.

A is the factory standard & in G the highlight colour could be changed, it doesn't have to be orange.

Prefer B or F.

Whenever I see orange highlights at the front of a car, reminds me of the Rover 200 BRM.

Thanks for input.

As I said it doesn't have to be orange - could be changed for e.g. red (TRD/Gazoo Racing colours are red/black & white).

Some Aston Martins also have orange mouths etc.  saw one on Sunday like that which  possibly subconsciously made me do it in orange for the illustration.

Agree with you.  Actually like the two previous Avensis fronts better.(2009, 2012 facelift). Having said that I think your C version looks cleaner.

Well, I was only going to be just a Viewer, and not vote, but as there's only 2 votes up to now:-

I don't have any feelings on the aesthetics of the Avensis as such, having never looked hard at one in the flesh, but I'm in general not keen on the modern aggressive look of many cars.  That said, of the images Scott's offered, I prefer  D & F, simply because the darker front looks "less busy".

And always bearing in mind  "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"

At first I thought it was one of those "Spot the Difference" tests to test the reader's power of observation

The changes you have made are very subtle and I think out of all of them I would probably plump for F.

Having said that, I much prefer the 2009 facelift (like Morton54) and think Toyota made a retrograde step with the 2015 version.

Impressed with your "Paint" skills I have to say
