Hi all

Im new to the owners club and wanna say hi 2 every1 here

have been looking at the mods ppl have been doing to their yaris's and am impressed

i have a 2000 black metallic yaris GS wiv alloys an a spoiler fitted

car was recently vandelised by couple of idiots that thought the bonnet could do wiv a few dozen key scratches over it :censor:

well am gettin that repaired at the mo

ive got a standard toyota cd player fitted in2 the black slot under the tape playa.

that set me back £250 and ive seen on here some ppl have fitted normal players and radio units in 2 their cars. ive got a set of 300 watt pioneer 6x9's in the back at the mo

if any 1 has any info on how u do this, can ya let me no.

like the car thats got the neons fitted inside the little cubbys and in the vents.

Good effort there.

Im also lookin 2 fit front fogs, and front, side, and rear skirts.

anybody with info or pics on these please.

Thanx ppl B)

I wanna look 2 change the fitted toyota cd playa wiv 1 that looks good

does it interact wit the unit and display that is already fitted by toyota??

ive got the toyota tweeters fitted in the trim between the door and the windscreen

wanna look 2 upgrade the door Speakers

and would probably need 2 get an amp for the 6x9's??

cheers mate

There's two ways to do this but an aftermarket head unit won't work with the Toyota display although the time and MPG stuff will all still display ok.

1st method

Other method (much better IMO)

Depending on the head unit and the 6x9's you have the head unit may be ok powering them - an amp's always better tho!

Can't recommend much for the front end as mine is standard but there are plenty of ppl on the board who can advise you.

As for fitting a new cd player, i really would recommend aftermarket one. Any sound better than the toyota ones! :D

I was really surprised how easy it is to take the whole center section of ther dash apart yesterday. Does take a bit of confidence the first time you do it tho!
