Unknown plug near injector 1

Got myself into a pickle at the moment my mothers car is 97 rav4 2 litre some guy said his a mechanic and knew jack all but near injector 1 is another plug sitting there with no clue where it goes as we can't see anything to clip it into and the other fella has now disappeared and he was the one to remove the plug any help would be appreciated the car needed a new clutch that is why work was done on the car but now it's running rough and suspicions is this one plug left dangling
