Hello all, bought my 04 yaris last year, however the CD player doesn' work. It' the standard one that came with the car, have tried removing it but cannot find am issue.

Is it a standard thing that goes wrong with them? Has anyone had this issue? How can I solve it?

Mine's never gone wrong but I rarely used it because it kept scratching up my CDs! Don't remember anyone else here having that problem so I assume it's not common.

My brother's Yaris has an odd problem with his where the LCD has stopped working; Never was a problem when I had it so I suspect it is due to the damper conditions of where he lives Up Norf.

Actually do you mean just the CD player is not working or the whole head unit?

If the whole headunit, might just be a fuse...?
