Hi,

I just wanted to say Hello as I'm new to TOC.

I have a mkiv TT supra and have had it for a few years now.

Only kept it stock for ~6 months before the ususal mod's started and have not stopped since.

Anyway, I'd post a pic but, have not figured out how to do that yet.

I see you are a 4speed too

Yep, it was a tough decision but after driving a handful of 6 speeds it only took one drive in the auto to make up my mind :D im sure it was the same for you.

Only thing is im not quite used to getting good starts off the lights. Just went to santapod last weekend and could only managed a 14.5 :(

Gonna have to get used to this left foot braking lark if i wanna improve that

Jerry, I'm still under 10 posts so, can't PM or email you the pic's - can you PM me your email and I'll send the pic's ? Ta.

Leeky, how many runs did you have ? I know that POD is very slippy but, you should be able to get into the 13's easy with a few more runs :)

Yeah i was well dissapointed, especially after seeing videos of stock TT's doing the 1/4 in 13.5.

It was all to do with getting the power off the line for me. This is only my 2nd auto and the first was a lexus ls400 so i never raced that.

on the first 4 runs i was starting off from idle, moving my right foot from the brake to the accelerator which meant i always had to catch back up.

The last two runs i took my mates advice and left footed it and give the right foot some revs which did improve things but im very worried about screwing up the auto box. What about you? Is this how you get good starts? What RPM do you take it up to?

Also i got crappy Nankang tyres that the dude who sold it to me put on for the MOT, so thats two things against me really.

Oh and i forget the day i went to the pod the weather wasnt fantastic, im sure the strip was slipperier than usual. They were going to run their rocket dragster but they called it off because it started to ubik down.

Oh **** theres no point in having w-ankangs change em now dammit!. I still managed to get 13.5 on ****angs on a damp surface and one of them was flat (didnt know at the time) hehe. They met thier deserved death whilst I performed a major drift on a roundabout...pop!

Hated em big time ...deathtrap tyres in the wet.
