Srs system

Hi well i am new here but have IQ automatic, was wondering if anyone can help? Today the SRS warning light came on the dashboard or passenger airbag on? I have had passengers on the front seat before but never seen this warning light i am completely confused what to do? Pleae can anyone help?

If not, I would contact your dealer.

Hi thanks for replying i have tried to enter my reg and VIN into the recall checker but just says there been an error ? So thats not working not sure what the dealer will say i didnt buy from a toyota dealer but from a general dealer?

One enters the VIN or the reg.no - not both.

Can you confirm what light came on? There is a passenger airbag on light in the middle of the car above the radio. Was the SRS light on the main instrument panel?

Yes i put the reg first says theres an error then i tried again with the VIN same thing?

Hi craig so i have the light on the dashboard to the right side of my steering wheel and also above the CD player ?

The light is srs warning according to the manual so i got 2 lights on does this make sense sorry on my own dont have a clue

The recall checker seems not to be working correctly - I also get an error message.
