:help: Having just changed my Rocker cover gaskets I have noticed that I could do with some new bolts and rubber washers that go underneath them.

Does anyone out there know where I can get the above? :help:

Cheers

I got new washers from here - look under Mk1 MR2. It's in the States but cost just $6 including postage - delivered in a couple of days too - excellent service.

Measure the thread size of the bolt (I think it's an M5 or 5mm) and get hold of Screwfix or Rivetwise (or similar type of place) and you should be able to pick up a pack of 10 for less than £1 ;)

Do you have a pic of the area you are talking about as none of the bolts on my rocker cover have washers :!Removed!: but they do have a washer incorporated into the head of the bolt and are chromed. Don't know if this is standard <_<

In actual fact they are nuts, not bolts.

They're deffinatly the Rocker/Cam cover nuts. The reason I ask is I don't think my torque wrench was working right when I changed the gaskets and now the front cover nuts seem to have the bolt pushing through the top of em (done up to tight)

They've got a real chromed up look and they have quite thick rubber washers underneath them. The washers seem to be welded the the cover now. Guess that's due to time and heat from the engine.

Will see what size they are and take it from there G.

Will have a look at that site as well cheers ae111sr!

I've just been looking for the receipt but I can't find it. I know I ordered them just before Christmas last year and they arrved on Christmas eve. I remember thinking at the time that it was very quick especially as it was Christmas. Don't give up yet mate.
