Machine Polish & Paint Restoration

Evening all, the only thing I could fault my motor on was the slightly flat, pinky paint...so today I managed to convince the wife I’d earned a day out pottering around the car...

So first things first...going with this stuff...has everything in you’d need...£40 off Amazon.

First job...wash

Next up was the clay bar treatment...

Couldn’t believe how much ***** it brought off...this was just from the front wing!

Next job...get the new toy out to use with this stuff...

This took !Removed! ages, used the polisher for both putting on and taking off the compound but also went over it with a cotton cloth just to make sure it was all off.

Then...finished off with this stuff...

Again wasn’t the easiest to work with although living up north and on top of particularly big hill it’s never really that warm...

After a lot of buffing both with the polisher and by hand here’s the finished job...

Thanks for looking, nearly 5 hours work but the paint has really come up lovely; much deeper and much ‘redder’ if you get me!

My celica is red too. Do you think it would help with my slightly faded paintwork?

Superb. Used to love the colour red in a car then went off it, cos they can get to look very faded and lacquer peeling off etc when not looked after. But in ur case with a lot of care, the colour red has to be one of the best colour's I think, especially for a Celica.

That mirror finish is stunning.
Also, those are some immaculate looking wheels!
Great stuff!
