dvd player remote

hi everyone I just brought a 2004 corolla verso 1.8 petrol t180 and so far very pleased. only small problem is the in car dvd didn't come with a remote or headphones. headphones I can get no problem but does anyone know where I can get a remote from? this topic probably has been covered so sorry for any repetition! was thinking of buying a normal universal remote from argos, Amazon etc but wasn't sure if they would work? any ideas? kids are driving me mad wanting to watch dvd's in the car not sure of the dvd player brand, but assuming its the factory fitted one? thanks in advance
