Toyota touch 2 go satnav

Anyone knows why it is not possible to enter the full postcode of an uK address on Toyota touch 2 go?

Its been frustrating to use the system as most of the time I drive to locations with unnamed roads and industrial states where the postcode is the only reference I got.

Another issue I facing it only let me enter the first 3 digits of a postcode and gives me list which is not always displaying the postcode I looking for,  entering the road name to found the postcode also won't let me enter the house number.

Any help, tips or guides are very much appreciated.

You can enter a full 6 fig postcode on Touch 2 & Go. Are you inputting the space?

Nope never tried  to enter the space. Always got the first 3 digits and as all the others go blanked out I look into the list.

You need to enter the space after the first 3.

Thanks Heidfirst it was so automatic for me to enter the postcode without a space on my previous satnav that I didn't realise something so simple.

You are welcome. I am fairly sure that it can also do 7 figure postcode but I don't think that i have ever had a need to try for 8!
