need a bit of help

Don't know if anyone can help me my Battery died on my aygo mmt, i replaced the Battery and now i am having problems pulling away and accelerating it struggles to pull away and when its driving and i accelerate i occasionally get a beeping noise i never had any problem with the car until the Battery died someone said it could be the clutch but it has only done 26k miles and someone else said it could need diagnosing has anyone else had this problem?
