Strange Sayings

don't think this has been done before so do you people out there have any strange phrases that you use like "theres no smoke with out fire" if so in what context do you use it and if possible how the phrase came about.

Its only heard in the Irish midlands. Heard it around Dublin, once, & discovered that the curser was from home!
