Got some pics of the new head unit installed :D

Front closed

Front open

It looks better than the pics imo. I'm not particualrly happy about the Audioleads double din converter - the bits that screw into the back of the dash seem too short. I've tried padding them out a little with spacers but it's still not pushed out enough. I might try getting longer washers and screws later... Any one else had this problem in a post-facelift Yaris?

Also I can't see any way of getting the ( :censor: !) ciggie lighter out of the old dash, can it be done or do I have to buy a new one?

That looks really nice, i was thinking of getting that one but i was a bit detered by the fact that the face does not come off. Is the Autoleads adapter black or grey, i have the pre-facelift yaris

so u just got that fascia from the dealer, theres 3 different types isnt there. so which one is the one uve got cos i need the same, toyota are being difficult saying they do not no what a yaris fascia adapter is,

and your auto leads double din converter, that was the one for the rav4 isnt it? just want to make sure cos the audio shop i went to said that they dont do discounts so make sure 100% that it will fit. does that just go inside the new dash part then?

thanks

Hi storm

Wow £400 thats mega bucks. But i must admit £270 sounds better on eBay. Sorry i didn't mean to rub it in mate. Well i will have a shop about and when I'm finally ready to buy a head unit i will call upon you for some advice

Yeh the fascia adapter part number is: 55406-52041-B0 The parts guy i dealt with was really good an explained that there was 3 types but the one I used was (i think!) type A (double din).

The audioleads converter was the one listed as Rav 4 but I'm not all that happy with the fit in my post facelift Yaris. I think everyone else that has used it has the pre-facelift models and didn't have any probs...

When you remove the standard fascia with the tape/cd attached the converter screws into the dash then the fascia adapter clips in front of it - easy

Ive got the model before that one with the blue screen instead of coloured and it cost me £500 bucks about a year ago!! :(

so you still got off lightly!

The face does come off,

there's a screw on the back of the front face you need to take out to remove it

Hi, i see you have a new facia around your cd player, so it allows you to have a normal cd player plus a money box underneath.

Where did you get it from and how much?

thanks bye
