How to remove TTE spoiler from 2002 Yaris??

Hi All,

my 2002 Yaris SR was written off on Tuesday (someone went into rear!) just trying to remove the rear TTE spoiler before sending it to the scrap heap! Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear spoiler?? I've taken off the 2 screws either side but the spoiler won't budge! Is it glued or are there any other screws that I've missed??

They're usually screwed and glued (using the same sealant they fit windscreens with). Hope that helps.

I've used dental floss in a sawing motion to cut through mastic type adhesives with great success. You soon realise if you hit a solid fixing.

Had to used fishing braid dental floss kept snapping! Thanks for the heads up! 👍
