I'm assuming this is something that not many people usually think about, however, i'm just wondering if anyone knows of/has any data to show where the centre of mass of the Toyota Aygo is. I'm making the assumption that all years/variants will be somewhat the same because the size and shape of the vehicle hasn't really changed through the generations. I have looked around on the internet and found nothing, so i thought the next best place to look would be here. If no-one can help i don't mind, I was just interested to find out and do not have the means of working it out myself.

I know that a lower centre of mass makes a car feel very planted and can make cars feel extremely fun because they are so stable, but the only car i have ever really driven for an extended period is my '08 Aygo and so i have no idea if its centre of mass is good (low) or bad (high). Any help is appreciated and i am aware of how technical this question is, but if there's one place i think i can get and answer, then its here. Thank you.

While I can't help on the technical aspects, I can report that I've driven many cars and the Aygo is the perhaps the most sure footed of all. As well the 'centre of mass' I guess the fact that the positions of the wheels as well as the overall dimensions and suspension set up may have something to do with its admirable handling characteristics.

Thankyou for your response, good to know its a stable car 😊😊😊

i have always felt it handles quite well but having never really driven other cars its difficult to compare its stability to other cars. Thankyou.
