Hello everyone I need a help with my prius excel I had a message on my dashboad saying that maintenance required with hybrid cooling does any one had  same problem?

Just looked in my Gen 3 2010 Prius handbook... my Prius has 2 cooling systems, and 2 reservoirs, one for the petrol engine (as you would find on "normal" cars) and one for the high voltage inverter. The warning message may mean either of the reservoirs may be low, particularly the one for the inverter. In my car it is a pink fluid in each so if the same in yours it would be easy to identify. Worth a look.

It could just be the cooling fan under the back seat is obstructed, check that there's nothing blocking the vents in the front of the rear seat base.

I've just checked the cooling vent for hybrid engine it' covered with dust I couldn't take the cover off

Yeah I noticed the cooling vent covered with dust I couldn't take the cover off there's a screw but I can't open it

It might be worth trying to hoover it out first and see if the message goes.
