2014 Auris reversing beep

Can the beeping noise when reversing be turned down or adjusted at all? Its a high pitched beep which starts once you put the selector into Reverse. I previously had a Prius which only started to beep once the back of the car was within a certain distance from an object. I prefer this to the Auris's constant beeping.

Do you need to update your profile to include the Auris.

Yes, it is a customisation option but has to be done by a dealer. In my case they didn't charge.

Then just does single beep when reverse selected before going quiet.

Or you can order Mini-VCI cable from eBay and do it yourself if you are DIY person.
