Toyota Estima user manual in English

Hi,

first time I’ve been on this forum. We have just bought a Toyota Estima Aeras 2006 and a warning light has come on that is a car with a key inside the car symbol. We wanted to know what it means and also want to know if anyone has managed to source an English version of the Toyota Estima user manual.

The light you describe is the immobiliser ..do you mean it's illuminated when the car has been started and is running.?

It should of course flash constantly whilst the engine is off....does the car start ok.?

H Clairial, I have recently bought a 2009 Toyota Estima hybrid and I have exactly come across with the same problem.  The light will flash as soon as the engine is off. My mechanic did an diagnostic check and there was an error code of C1241 so it is not "It should of course flash constantly whilst the engine is off".

so you got the code C1241, what did your mechanic say what the code mean, and has he cleared the problem?

I have Toyota estima hybrid 2009. I have same sign coming up on the  Have you guys found the screen when engine is switched off.have you guy found the answer yet.
