2002 previa door stuck

My 2002 Previa GS sliding door has stuck shut. The central locking sounds like it's working and the child lock is off but the door won't open from either side. Any ideas anyone?

Not an uncommon event....firstly make sure the door IS actually FULLY closed..then try a firm shoulder on the inside whilst someone holds the handle up on the outsider..sticking rubbers are quite common and they sometimes make it feel as though the doors are truly stuck.

I assume the doors are not "soft close".?
