There's a pretty big topic about it, main points were that if you have a connector hole already made on your wheel, you can install it (exception is Auris 1.4 d4d, with 1nd-tv engine).

If you have a plugged hole on the side of your steering wheel where CC should be located, then it should also work for you.

@furtula thanks. it has an indentation and looks removable. would it be possible to install without removing airbag connetor? and what is the possible dangers of installing yourself?

i called toyota dealer where i bought the car from they said 'we wont do it'.. thats all. so they were not helpful either.

I only read the topic to kill some time, i had CC as factory.

The instructions are pretty straight forward, and say you should not disconnect the airbag.

If you don't want to risk doing it yourself, i would suggest either asking if someone would be willing to do it for you, or ask for a recommendation for a local place near you.'

Some dealers may have a policy of not doing work which makes changes to a vehicle's standard spec.

If you buy OE parts to either self install or for a third party install, these would be covered by the parts warranty (usually around 1 year), but the install and the parts won't be covered by the remainder of the new car warranty or the extended warranty provided when the car was purchased.
