Any reason why only passenger door courtesy lights would stop working. I changed them all for led the drivers side are fine. Checked fuse 19 dome all ok.

Even tried the drivers side ones in there and don't light up on passenger sides![emoji57]

If they're festoon type bulbs (ie double ended), try reversing them in the bulb holder.

Is the switch functioning correctly? My 1st thought when courtesy lights are mentioned.

Worked out none of the interior lights come on when open passenger side doors.
Could it be my door switches??
Driver side works fine.

Give the switch a few flicks, and the lights might come on. If that works, pop the switch out and give it a clean. Surprising how little muck or oxidation can stop it making the circuit.

Try pressing the switch in and out with your finger a few times to see if it makes the connection. If no action, you'll need to replace the switch.

I've tried switches and nothing. I tried the passenger ones on the drivers side that work and they still work fine on drivers side. So door switches are ok.
When unlock car and go in through passenger side the door open light on dash doesn't come on and central locking locks.
So it's like the car doesn't know the passenger side is opening. This only happened after changing bulbs and there was a flicker and then no lights.

Racking my brains,  don't make no sense!

When you changed bulbs, did you go from filament to led or vice versa? The change in resistance might fool the ecu.

Filament to led but all the other lights have changed to led fine!
It's doing my head in

Is there a micro switch in the doors?
Maybe changing the bulb earthed it out?!

  • 1 month later...

Hi

Yesterday I went to visit my daughter at university in my LC5 120

the suspension has completely sunk at the back making it a very unpleasant and uncomfortable return 100 mile journey

the controls on the centre console won’t adjust the ride height but no warning lights have come on

any suggestions welcome were to start
