Water leak passenger front footwell

Hi I’ve recently discovered after having my 4 year old Aygo 6 months that after the recent extremely wet weather damp to puddled areas of the passenger footwells have appeared . The water ingress does not seem to be coming from the door sills but I think from the front of the car . Please can anyone help or have similar problems . Thankyou .

1st place to check is the boot area make sure this area is totally dry as its common for water to run from the back to the front
