Auto lock after turning of engine

Hello! 

About a month ago my multi-vee belt went off. After changing it my central lock has been acting very strange.

About 15-20 seconds after turning the engine off, still with the key in the ignition - the car simply locks itself. Today I had left the key in the ignition and the car locked itself, thank God I had left the window open. 
Anyone else experienced the same thing?

See the other post after this about auto locking, you can try that. Or there may be a way to reset.

I think something is wrong, but as M456an has stated, try the method to disable/enable auto locking just covered in a post before yours. Hopefully this will correct the system. 
Your car is the older model. If you have the owner's manual, see if the subject has been covered.
