Should I replace my timing chain now, or...?

I bought a 2004 Toyota Yaris (petrol) a couple of years ago and have done approx. 5000 miles since.

A couple of weeks, or so, ago the engine developed a rattling noise - which my local garage has looked at and tell me that it's the timing chain (system).

Now the car hasn't had in service in the time that I've had it, and I don't know the service history.  Should I get the timing chain replaced now (quoted £160) or have I got time to save up some money to get in done in a couple of months, or so?

Thanks

Turns out that it's actually going to cost about £250, which I can't afford at the moment.  Is that still a good price?
