Yaris Hybrid Section?

The Toyota Forum has a section for Yaris, and a section for Prius.  Prius is a hybrid of course, but different to the Yaris Hybrid.

It seems to me, that a Yaris Hybrid falls somewhere between the Prius section and the Yaris section, and is therefore neither fish nor fowl.

Should we have our own section?

Mick.

No.

The club used to have a 'Toyota Prius/hybrid' section. However with the introduction of the Auris and then Yaris hybrids, topics were posted in either of the three clubs, which was both messy and difficult for some members to keep track of topics. With the prospect of further hybrids being introduced - e.g. Rav4 hybrid - the situation would have got worse.

A couple of years ago, the decision was taken to re-align the clubs and have dedicated clubs for specific ranges - Auris, Yaris, Prius, etc.

The current arrangement is far simpler and works well.

Thanks.  I just had to ask as it had been bothering me for a while.

Makes complete sense.

I'm very much involved with the CyclingUK forum quite a bit, so I see your point and how/why you took the decision.  https://forum.cyclinguk.org/index.php

Best wishes, Mick.
