1.I know this may sound noobish i just want to know for sure ive only had the turbo for two weeks, When the turbo is at max boost, is it safe to keep going in the rev range ie red range third - fourth gear.

2. The audio system in the mk2 92 gt turbo are they active Speakers? , i tried to get a audio connector for my cdplayer but the toyota connection didnt fit , it has three prongs in the top instead of two , so ive ordered Smart Lead PC9-411 Item code: 957324-PC9411 Active System Adapter for TOYOTA (MR2 (With active speakers)) - ISO Leads/Harness is this the correct one? damn i really wanted it sorted its become a nightmare :ffs:

1. As with any car keeping it in the red can be dangerous, especially under boost. For the 89-92 turbos the max power is around 5500rpm anyway! the turbocharger becomes less efficient above that.

2. the speaker systems vary depending on specification, go here and check to see if the pinout is correct

On the early cars you should be geer changing at about 5.5k 6k rpm .. all the power is from 4k - 6k .. no point going to 7k as it's slower ;)
