Toyota published details of the new MC2018 Aygo today for UK market.

Production stared 1st May

Onsale 1st June

Demo's from 25th June

Customer deliveries 1st July

Two new Colours: Magenta Fizz exclusive to X-cite & Blue burst exclusive to X-clusive. Cyan splash, White flash, Silver splash, Electro grey, Bold black & red pop carry over.

Apple car play & Android auto depending on trim.

6 trims Starting with Aygo 

X: 14" steels wheels, LED DRL, Electric fr windows, Audio with USB & Aux in & New Rear LED lights

X-play in addition to X 15" steel wheels, Air con, bluetooth, DAB, X-touch & LED rear lights optional: x-nav & TSS

X-press in addition to X-play 15" Alloy black alloys, Coloured accents front, side & roof, Fog lamps, Auto AC/lights, Privacy Glass, Reversing Camera

optional: x-nav or connectivity ( carplay/android auto ) , TSS

Any details about the type of auto gearbox the new Aygo will use?

If it's x-shift again, I hope they've improved/refined it, as the current one is not the most pleasant gearbox to live with daily.

Presumably it will still be the X-shift, which was an updated multi mode transmission used in the first generation.
