Hello people, id like to have a topic about the yaris 1999-2005 diesel engine. I know its a bit old now but still is running as it was younger. I d like to see your experience in what type of engine oil or transmission oil or best brands of filters or suspensions kits etc have been proven to be the best fitted about this marvelous car.

Do you have any problems with egr or pcv or scv valve?

I see lot of people who remove or delete the egr. The problem i have is the bad quality of the diesel in my country. Thats why i tend to put on new filters in every 3000 miles.

It may sound strange but the amount of water is high. In addition the quality is so low such a 2018 car will turn on the engine light after 10k miles.
