First off, I'd like to apologize for just registering and barging in with this problem, sorry!

My sister used to own a 96' Toyota Windy 2 door, sometimes called corolla 2, scarlet, so many names.. It has a 1.5 diesel and it's actually packs a punch, as all toyotas do. I myself am a 17 year old student from Malta, currently in college getting my degree in Software Programming, but I secretly have this virtual love for fixing cars, yet I've never had the chance to do it, just watching people do it online. A smart car crashed onto her after he ran a red light, and it's considered totaled. She dumped it in my garage and I really want to see if I can fix it myself. It has a huge body dent, and the tires need replacing, as he threw her onto the central strip. The left rear part of the car is the problem. 28580126_1794222340608630_1244423715_o.j

I haven't had the chance to look under the car, but I'm pretty sure it needs new brakes, axle and all that. I was told the drive shaft was not hit, so that's a plus. I myself am a novice and only have theory experience, barely even. What do you guys think I should do? I think this car has a lot of potential.
