Hi, is there an alpine headunit which cost approx 3500? it has silver and bronze bits on it

Could be this one, as the Alpine F1 series is the most expensive of it range, this is the latest version which replace the old CDA-7990 F1 head unit, not suit the price on this new DVI-9990R F1 head unit, but the old CDA-7990 F1 unit is around £2799.

dunno man im stumped, cant see anything like it on the website and the top end gear as Maz says is the F1 status stuff and that does retail for approx 3 grand

Here the new Alpine F1 screen...dont know the price, as this range had only been released only here

personly i go for the IVA-300RB, this is the new touch screen head unit from Alpine, which is what i got in my....which is alots cheaper than the F1 series

the only Touch screen i know of is the IVA-D300RB which i had in my car, and also the TME-770 6.5" touch screen which is just a screen on it own, and both doesnt have build in DVD player, the IVA-D300RB is around £1500, not sure about the TME-770, as for the F1 series they are not touch screen...dont know why as they suppose to be the top of the range stuffs from Alpine....

F1 is so expensive cause the sound quality is supposed to be unmatched by anything else out there
