Help needed

Hi guys I need your help with my 1989 corolla gl model, the problem is that it hunts when it is ticks over  from 400 to 1200 rpm and can be tricky to start when its hot any suggestion please car has only 25000 miles on it its a mint so just need to sort out this problem thanks in advance.

Does it have an Idle Air Control  (IAC) valve? Sounds like that could be sticking and needs a clean.

Have a search for your model and engine, and IAC. Should bring up plenty of info. If it has, there's most likely plenty of really helpful YouTube videos on how to get to it (usually involves removing the throttle) and clean it. Might even be worth starting your search on YouTube.. sooo many useful vids from all around the world!
