Scuttle rattle

I have a really annoying rattle which has been diagnosed by Snows Toyota as being a common fault  within the external scuttle.

There is a kit that is available, I hope which I can buy and fit myself.

has anybody been through this exercise?!

Can't say that I have heard of that particular problem before. Get in touch with Parts King, he should be able to sort  the kit out for you. Did they actually point out the cause of the rattle to you? Just wondering if it can be fixed without the "kit"?

I've experienced this before, the very top bezel is the one that rattles, put your hand on it, and it stops.

I'd recommend some very thin 3M double sided (grey) tape and wedge in the gap.
