Paint number

Hi, how do I find which is the correct paint number for my car please? I have looked through my manual and can't locate it. Many thanks for any replies. 😊

Sometimes dealers enter the paint name/number in the owner information of the service and warranty booklet. What colour do you have and is it solid or metallic?

It's metallic blue

One could look at the VIN plate in the engine bay which should  have an entry 'c/tr' followed by the colour code (c/tr stands for colour/trim).
