Okay, i'll give you a serious answer...

Octaine booster 'should do 'exactly what it says on the tin, increase the octaine of your fuel..

So yes, you put it in your fuel tank...

If it is any good, i cant comment, for a 1.3 Yaris, I doubt it very much... BUT, if your driving a very modified car, or high performance jap import (where they can buy 100 RON fuels at the pump), then a good booster could be useful..

I have tried millers boost, which wasnt too bad, had a little effect (less so than 95RON to 97RON)...

Most "Octane Boosters" are actually knock hiders ..

You car starts to advance the timing, but the chemicals in the boosters hide the fact your engine is knocking and so it advances the timing a bit more ..

not what I'd want to use on my car .. I have methanol to increase the RON ;)
