Engine/transmission compatibility

Hi,

i am originally from the Lotus community but as we have many parts in common i think some Toyota experts could help me anyway :)

actually i am searching for a possibility to compare the C64 (Celica TS) transmission with the C63/C65 (MR2) one.

I need to know if it is plug and play with the 2zz-ge engine or if the fittment would require speacial know-how / adaptors.

 

It would be perfect if anyone knows a website where i can find the exploded diagramms. Like this here:

:) In some forums i found few threats but nothing that give detailed information.

 

The stock c64 gears struggles with powerlevels around 300hp and the MR2 Gearboxes are known for their potential.

So when i am already in custom gearing, i think i could swap to the stronger housing and finaldrive also as i want to target 450+hp & ~400-420nm
